Parade Info (July 4th)

We tried something new last year and it worked out great. Instead of having to fill out and mail in an entry form we are giving you the line-up time and parade time and you can show up at your convenience. Your place in the parade will be determined by whatever time you can show up. First come– first serve! We will have a short form for you to fill out for our announcer to introduce you and your entry.

Line-up will be from 10:00 – 11:00 and the parade will start at 11:30. We will have a registration table set up in the elevator entrance east of the bank on the south side of 16. There will be a tent set up so it will be easy to see. If you are bringing a walking animal entry please come prepared to clean up after your animals during line-up and along the parade route. This will ensure a clean route for all participating.

The parade route will be as usual: we will start the line up near Jefferson Street and 16 and proceed through town, turn at the church and enter the park. We will pass through the park and exit by Moss Fertilizer. From there you are dismissed.

Parade Organizers: Gail Byrum, Maria DuVall, Beth Reichart
